Royal Salute Tribute to Honour – Un joyau nommé Whisky pour environ 200 000 $ // A circa $200,000 jewel Whisky

La présentation de cette « bouteille  trésor » en grande pompe avec des figurants déguisés en gardes de la Reine d’Angleterre a été un moment d’anthologie.

Un Whisky qui rend hommage aux symboles de la monarchie écossaise et unit les savoir faires d’artisans d’exception.

Pour le Whisky, Colin Scott, Maître assembleur d’exception, a passé des mois à sélectionner les fûts de Whisky dans lesquels le précieux liquide reposait depuis au moins 45 ans. Les anges s’étant bien servis, seuls quelques litres au maximum étaient encore présents dans ces fûts d’exception. Colin a tiré le meilleur de ces précieux elixirs en créant l’assemblage le plus expressif qu’il soit.

Pour le flacon, deux grands artisans ont collaboré :

• Le Maître faïencier Revol qui a créé ce flacon à partir des argiles fines de l’Ile du Nord, située au Nord de la Nouvelle-Zélande
• Le joailler Garrard a magnifié le flacon en le sertissant de 413 diamants blancs et noirs (22 carats), d’or et d’argent

 

21 bouteilles ont été réalisées. L’une d’entre elles est disponible en exclusivité française chez Lavinia Madeleine pour environ 200 000$, avis aux amateurs et aux collectionneurs …

The presentation of this « tresury bottle » has been made by two young guys wearing Queen’s guards clothes. It was truly a historical moment.

This fascinating Whisky is a tribute to the honours of Scotland. It is the result of the combination of the work of three amazing craftsmen.

For the Whisky, Colin Scott, one of the best Whisky blending Masters on Earth. He spent ages selecting the best old casks of Whisky of Chivas Regal (all are older than 45 years) in order to make the most fabulous and subtile blend he could imagine.

The bottle is the result of the work of two incredible craftsment :

• The porcelaine master Revol created the bottle with a really fine clay coming from a small island, North of New-Zeland
• The jeweller Garrard enhanced the beauty of the bottle with 413 white and black diamonds (22 carats), gold and silver

There are only 21 bottkes in the World. One of them is sold in exclusivity in France at Lavinia Madeleine and costs around $200 000
